How to find customers that are looking for you right now!

How to find customers that are looking for you right now:  One of the most effective ways to market your products is to do so to a list of hungry prospects. That’s because those who has been willing to give you their contact details have expressed an interest in learning more about you. Specifically, they want to know how you can help them solve their problems.

While some people surf the Internet purely for entertainment, the majority are looking for answers. This is borne out in part by the popularity of articles and ebooks that have the words “How to . . .” in their titles.

There are a number of ways to do this, and in this article, I want to show you three of the most popular: writing articles, commenting on blogs, and interacting with people on forums.

Let’s look briefly at each one.

Writing articles

Article marketing has been in vogue for several years. The idea behind them is to provide a nugget of high quality information to readers who are interested in a particular topic. The more articles that you write, the more you demonstrate what you know about it. And as you continue to share your expertise, you begin to build credibility in the minds of potential customers.

When that happens, then they will look for a way to connect with you. The best internet marketers make this easy for them by providing a link to a squeeze page in their resource boxes.

Commenting on blogs

Blogs are another way of reaching people who are looking for solutions. But instead of writing for article directories those same articles (called posts) are published by the blog host on his or her own website.

The advantage to this marketing method is that those people who read any blog on a regular basis are looking for more information about that particular niche. And so if you can offer meaningful comments consistently, then you can establish yourself as an expert. That will then cause people to want to learn from you, in place of, or in addition to the blog.

This method only works if the blog host allows you to link a URL to your squeeze via your name. Many of them don’t, and so you will have to do some research to make sure that your comments are not wasted.

Interacting on forums

This approach is different from making blog comments. Its purpose is to engage in a conversation with everyone who is discussing the topic in which you are an expert.

This is very low key selling. Almost everyone who posts to most forums knows that they’re doing so in the hope of getting more business. But typically, the rules of forums prevent you from saying so, and you can get banned for life if you try to do it.

Each of these methods depends on your ability to put your expertise in the front of potential clients. If you do it right, then they will join your list.
